Patty Annette Canipe, 56, of Shelby, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023 at Atrium Health - Cleveland, Shelby.

Born in Burke County, on October 25, 1966, she was a daughter of Vernie Owens Canipe and the late Coleman Dean Canipe. She was a homemaker and member of New Life Outreach.

In addition to her mother, Vernie Canipe of Shelby, she is survived by sister, Becky Robinson and husband Steve of Blacksburg and nephew, Conner Forbes of Blacksburg.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 10, 2023, at 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, at 3:00 pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Owens and Rev. Jerry Allen officiating.

The burial will follow the service in the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery.
