Mr. Paul Caldwell Eddins, 98, of Shelby, NC passed away Monday, April 11, 2011. Services were held at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel, Shelby, NC. Burial followed in Cleveland Memorial Park, NC.
Mr. Eddins served our country in the U.S. Army during WWII.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Sparks Eddins; his parents, Caleb Andrew and Jane Elizabeth Paxton Eddins; 1 brother, Everette Eddins; and 2 sisters, Muriel Freeman and Lillie Mae White.
He is survived by 1 daughter, Paula E. Blanton and husband, Rev. David L. of Kings Mountain, NC; 1 sister, Elsie McSwain formerly of Shelby, now of Arkansas; 2 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Clay-Barnette Funeral Home, Shelby, NC is serving the family.
