Paul Raven Shuford, 83, of W. Stagecoach Trail, Lawndale, passed away
Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Hospice at Wendover in Shelby.

Born in Cleveland County, on April 7, 1934, he was a son of the late William
Clayton Shuford and Gladys Lee Shuford. He was retired from the Cleveland
County Maintenance Department. Paul was a member of Polkville United
Methodist Church, Camp Call Masonic Lodge #534 and Camp Call Eastern Star
Chapter #287.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, William
"Bill" Shuford.

He is survived by his wife of sixty three years, Nona Wilson Shuford; two
sons, Timothy Reid Shuford and wife Lauri of Jamestown, NC and Barry Neil
Shuford of Matthews; four grandchildren, Stephen Shuford, Joel Shuford,
Chandler Shuford, and Chase Shuford; and one great-grandchild, Everett
Shuford.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at
Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be Saturday at 2:00PM at Polkville United Methodist
Church with Revs. Bill Lovelace and Mike Duncan officiating. The body will
be placed in the church thirty minutes prior to the service.

The burial will follow the service in the Polkville United Methodist Church
Cemetery with Masonic Graveside Rites by Camp Call Masonic Lodge#534.
