Paul Warren Walker

Paul Warren Walker, 86, of 1664 Fallston Rd. in Shelby passed away Thursday
August 3, 2017 at Peak Resources in Shelby.

Born December 2, 1930 in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late Joseph
Cletus Walker and Nettie Davis Walker. He was a member of Davidson Memorial
Baptist Church and was retired from Doran Textiles. He also tuned pianos and
loved to sing.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife;
Estelle White Walker; brother, Worth Walker; sister, Ruth Cook, three great
grandchildren; Maddie Tessneer, Grady Morrison, and Angel Walker; and
brother-in-law, Charles Toney.

Survivors include his second wife, Cathy Walker; one son and
daughter-in-law; Michael and Veronica Walker of Whitsett, NC; daughter and
son-in-law; Martha and Flay Washburn of Shelby; three brothers; JC Walker,
Pink Walker and wife Betty, and Wayne Walker all of Casar; three sisters;
Katherine Sansing and husband Roger of Shelby, Edith Brackett and husband
Barry of Polkville and Dean Toney of Davidsonville, Maryland; sister-in-law,
Linda Edwards and husband Tommy of Shelby; four grandchildren; Sarah and
Brad Morrison, Kelly and Freddie Lovelace, Joseph and Ivona Walker, Haley
Walker; eight great grandchildren; Aynslee Weeks, Bree Lovelace, Channing
Lovelace, Gram Morrison, Reed Morrison, Thomas Walker, Lily Walker, Colton
Walker.

The visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at Stamey-Tysinger
Funeral Home Fallston.

The funeral service will be Monday at 2:00 PM at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral
Home Chapel with the Rev. Danny Phillips officiating.

Burial will follow in Cleveland Memorial Park.
