Paula Ann Eddins Blanton, 72 of Blalock Drive, Kings Mountain, passed away,
Monday, May 7, 2018 at Testa Hospice House in Kings Mountain.

Born April 21, 1946 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late Paul
Caldwell Eddins and Mary Lou Sparks Eddins. Paula's career included the
Banking and Mortgage Industry. Her greatest love was the 10 years spent at
Fallston Elementary as a Title 1 teacher. She also ministered for almost 40
years as a Pastor's wife. Her greatest priority as a pastor's wife was to
give love and care to her family. They ministered in Raleigh, Rockingham,
Salisbury, Bethlehem Baptist in Kings Mountain and currently Fallston
Baptist Church in Fallston.

Survivors include her husband, Rev. David Blanton, Sr.; son and
daughter-in-law, David Blanton, Jr. and Jody Blanton of Kings Mountain; son
and daughter-in-law, Derek Blanton and Kathy Blanton of Indian Trail;
granddaughters, Shannon Roof of Lowell, Ashley Mason and husband, Dexter of
Mt. Holly and Kaitlyn Blanton of Indian Trail; and great-grandchildren,
Riley Mason and Tristan Mason of Mt. Holly and Emmalynn Roof of Lowell.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 6:30 PM, Thursday at Fallston Baptist
Church with Revs. Leland Kerr, Keith Dixon and Jerry Welch officiating.

A reception will follow the service in the church fellowship hall.

A service of committal will be held 10:00 AM, Friday at Bethlehem Baptist
Church Cemetery with Rev. John Bridges officiating.
