Paulette Frances Motes Walker, 75 of Shelby, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at her residence.

Born in Bulloch County, on September 2, 1946, she was the daughter of the late John Paul Motes and Jewell Boyd Motes. She was a homemaker and attended Ledford Grove Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Boyd Motes and a sister, Brenda Harris.

Survivors include a son, Shane Walker and wife, Jill of Shelby; three daughters, Terry Huffstetler and husband, Jeff of Shelby, Jennie King and husband, Wayne of Dallas and Michelle Rhinehart of Fallston; three sisters, Montana Benfield, Debra Lineberger and Wanda Haskins all of Dallas; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 23, 2022 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Ledford Grove Baptist Church.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 12:00 pm at Ledford Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Jackie Price officiating.
