Peggy Davis Horn, 86 of Charlie Elliott Road, Lawndale, passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at her residence.

Born in Cleveland County, NC on June 23, 1935 to the late Lawrence Howard Davis and Knox Seagle Davis. She was a retired hairdresser. Mrs. Horn was a member of Pisgah Baptist Church and attended Christ Covenant.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Floyd Coleman Horn and two sons, Buddy Oliver and Larry Oliver.

Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth Russ and husband, Tim of Polkville; five grandchildren, Ernest Raymond Oliver, III, Jared Stephen Oliver, Floyd Coleman Oliver, Philip Tyler Russ and fiancée, Hannah Brown and Kristin Elizabeth Russ and several great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 31, 2021 from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 31, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Doug Pruett officiating.

The burial will follow the service in the Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery.
