Peggy Jean Bell Goins, age 75, died Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Carolinas Healthcare Cleveland. Born in Cleveland County on January 19, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Jack Howard and Margaret Holcombe Bell. Peggy was a member of Landmark Baptist Church. She was a former office manager for Cleveland Family Practice. Peggy was a devoted mother and grandmother. In her spare time, Peggy enjoyed gardening.

Peggy is survived by two daughters, Sherry Mayfield of Morganton, and Kelli Moore and husband Derrick of Mooresboro; a sister, Doris Blanton of Boiling Springs; three brothers, Don Bell of Boiling Springs Rex Bell and wife Linda of Shelby, and Mickey Bell Gaffney SC; three grandchildren, Justin Mayfield and girlfriend Emily Lucas, Brooke Bailes and husband A.J., and Brad Moore; a great grandson, Gabe Bailes; and a host of loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Landmark Baptist Church with Rev. Allen Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Cleveland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends an hour before the service from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm in the sanctuary.
