PG Jolley, age 88 of Mooresboro, NC, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Wendover Hospice in Shelby, NC. He was born February 26, 1937 in Cleveland County, NC to the late Lewis Bolin Jolley and the late Eula Mae Scruggs Jolley. PG was a US Army Veteran and worked for PPG Industries for forty three years as a machinist in their alloy division. He dedicated his life to his faith and cherished his church.

PG is survived by his children; David Jolley and Carole Jolley (Paul Foster) and his sister Ellen Jolley (Bud).

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Sybil Humphries Jolley and two sisters; Rosita Jones and Joyce Dobbs.

The family will receive friends Monday, January 12, 2026 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside, NC. The funeral service will be Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at 1:00pm at Sandy Run Baptist Church in Mooresboro, NC with Reverend Jeff Queen and Reverend Andrew Rawls officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sandy Run Baptist Church or to Wendover Hospice of Shelby, NC.
