Philip "Chip" Gensler, III, age 63, peacefully passed away Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Olde Knox Commons at the Village of Mecklenburg.

Born in New Orleans on July 28, 1960, Chip was the son of the late Philip Gensler, Jr., and Elizabeth Pratt Gensler.

Chip is survived by two daughters, Mary Catherine Allen (Michael) of Grover, N.C., and Elizabeth Ross (Dillon) of Johns Island, S.C. Also left to cherish his memory is his sister, Nina Gensler of New Orleans, LA, and brother, Scott Gensler (Kendall and Miles) of Mandeville, LA.

The family will hold a private memorial at a later date.
