Phillip Carter Brown, 52 of Deer Creek Road, Casar passed away, Friday,
December 8, 2017 at Duke University Hospital.

Born July 20, 1965 he was a son of Shirley Rupard Brown and the late Lonnie
Phillip Brown, Jr. He worked with Fulbright Heating & Air and was a member
of Missionary Ridge Baptist Church in Morganton.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Eddie
Brown.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 27 years, Janice
Hudson Brown; a daughter, Nicole Beaver and husband, Gary of Shelby and
step-father Calvin Sharpe.

Visitation will be 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Sunday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral
Home.

The funeral service will be 3:00 PM, Monday at Missionary Ridge Baptist
Church with Pastor Chris Dale officiating. The body will be placed in the
church thirty minutes before the service.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
