Poplar Springs Baptist Church held a yard sale Saturday Feb. 13th. The fundraiser benefits the mission team from Poplar Springs Baptist Church for Zona Juvenil Ministry in Guatemala. The Zona Juvenil Youth Ranch in Huehuetenango, Guatemala is run by Missionary Mark Wakefield. The ranch houses, feeds and provides for as many as 25 teenagers. Funds raised will provide for a team of eleven church members to travel to Guatemala and help with construction of a dorm. The team goes each year around spring break. Other fundraisers have included a Super bowl luncheon and catering for various groups.
