Alex Meander and Nancy Fichter join in the potluck meal focused on local foods held on Earth Day, April 22, 2017 in the community garden at Holly Oak Park in Shelby. Along with the meal there was a seed & plant exchange, plant identification walk and drum circle. Community members gathered after a day of service that involved cleanup on the First Broad River, picking up trash along public trails and working on community gardens in the county.
