Preston Emery Grant, age 25, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021.

Born in Gaston County on June 7, 1995 he was the son of Dale Grant and wife Kimberly Grant of Shelby.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Neline Swink, and his paternal grandfather James Thomas Grant, and two great aunts, Rachel Swink and Eva Self.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his three children, two brothers; Thomas Grant and Douglas Grant and two sisters; Jenifer Stroup and Josie Grant all of the Shelby area as well as maternal grandfather Steve Swink, his paternal grandparents, Elizabeth Lowery and Julius Lowery and a special Uncle Robert Hand.

A celebration of Preston's life will be held privately.
