| Program To Honor County Veterans |

Pianist Eugene F. Allen will perform at a luncheon honoring the military veterans of Cleveland County at the Neal Senior Center in Shelby on Thursday, November 8th. He will play songs which were popular during the World War II era. In 1952 Gene played the piano daily with Don Gibson’s band at Radio Station W.O.H.S. in Shelby. His most memorable concert was in 1976 as he was the first artist to perform in the new Malcolm E. Brown Auditorium. Veterans who are interested in attending the program on November 8th should contact the Senior Center at 704-482-3488.
