Rachael McClain Goforth, 96, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on September 18, 2020 at White Oak Manor in Kings Mountain, NC.

Born in Franklin Co. GA , she was the daughter of the late Ernest Carl and Nettie Mae Dunson McClain. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Garrison Goforth.

Rachael was a longtime member of Boyce Memorial ARP Church where she served as former President of Women and often played the piano and organ. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a seamstress, loved to knit and was a great cook.

5 Grandchildren: Erin Smith and husband Pete, New Wilmington, PA, Ada Samari and husband Patricio, Baltimore, MD, Zachary Tieman, Memphis,TN

Will Denton and wife Mindy, Lincolnton, NC, Sally Denton, Kings Mtn. NC

Great Grandchildren: Rachael, Ivy, Katie, Gracie, Hannah, Cameron, Ella and Maylee
