RAISING BACKYARD CHICKENS...
With a growing demand for local foods and consumers demanding fresh, unadulterated foods, raising backyard chickens has become chic.
Why raise chickens? They are relatively easy and inexpensive to maintain. They produce eggs that are fresh, great-tasting and nutritious. Chickens provide chemical-free bug and weed control and manufacture the world’s best fertilizer. They are interesting creatures that make fun and friendly pets with lots of personality.
