Rallie Ann Turner, 84, of Fallston Road, Shelby, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024 at her home.

Born in South Carolina, on March 3, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Howard Truesdale and Beulah Mae Parker. She was a retired upholster and seamstress, and member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Rallie loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening in her yard.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Charles Edward Turner; daughter Rhonda Price; and two brothers.

She is survived by her three children, Deborah Turner, Eddie Turner and wife Doris, and April Mauney and husband Patrick all of Shelby; four grandchildren, Tyler Turner and wife Brooke of Charlottesville, VA, Rachel Phillips and husband Jacob of Chapel Hill, Harry Mauney of Charlotte, and Ben Mauney of Shelby and eight brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 31, 2024, at 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
The memorial service will be held on Friday, May 31, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Toby Bird and Rev. Max Turner officiating.

The burial will follow the service in the Rose Hill Memorial Park.
