Ralph Jackson Hanline Jr., 82, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on October 30, 2026 at White Oak Manor in Kings Mountain, NC. He was born February 2, 1944 in Mecklenburg County, NC, son of the late Ralph Jackson and Blondell Moser Hanline and was preceded in death by his sister, Marsha Hanline Lester. Ralph served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam era. Continuing his desire to help others, Ralph served as a police officer and as a private investigator upon his release from military service. He was fiercely patriotic and very proud of his service to others.

He is survived by his son, Michael John Hanline, and his daughter, Anne Marie Hanline Majcher
