Randy Allen Pruitt, age 63, of Cherryville, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2026, at his home. Randy was born December 19, 1962, in Cleveland County, to the late Marvin Ray Pruitt and the late Sadie Verline Adams. He enjoyed talking on the phone and riding side by sides.

In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his sister, Lisa Renee Pruitt McGowan.

Survivors include his son, Thomas Hendrix; daughter, Harley Hendrix; brothers, Curtis Pruitt, Ricky Pruitt, and Michael Pruitt (Martha); and grandchildren, Jasper, J.D., and Persephone.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 3, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, at Carpenter-Porter Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
