RaShawn "Pun" LaRay Flack, 42, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at CaroMont Health, Gastonia, NC.

He was born on March 30, 1983 in Cleveland County, NC, to the late Kathy Flack Brown and Ricky Huskey.

Rashawn was affectionately known as "Pun" or "P-Dot"by his family and friends. He attended Burns High School. He had a strong passion for the music industry--writing lyrics, rapping, and performing. A few of his favorite hits were "A Lot" and "They Don't Know Me". He held a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death his maternal grandparents, Ray T. Flack, Sr. and Mary Reid Flack.

He leaves to cherish his memory to his father, Ricky Huskey (Mary); sisters, Nakia Flack, Jaleesa Brown, Donesha Rankin (Johnny), Yikeisha Rankin; brothers, Marickeyo Huskey and Kelly Surratt; paternal grandmother, Betty Huskey; fiancé, Crystal Porter; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services were held on Friday, May 16, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Shiloh Baptist Church in Shelby, NC.
