Raymond “Ray” Greenberg, 91, passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.  A native of Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late Samuel and Eva Greenberg.  He was also preceded in death by brother, Mitchell Greenberg and his son, Robert Greenberg.  Ray was a retired vice president of export from Curtiss Wright.  He was a very creative and talented man and respected all around the world.  Ray was an accomplished artist through paintings and woodcarvings.  He was a big sports fan and loved his extensive traveling with Phyllis throughout Asia and Europe.  Ray will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father and friend.

Mr. Greenberg is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Phyllis Wecker Greenberg; his son, Gary Greenberg and wife Candace of Cape Neddick, ME; grandsons, Alex Greenberg of Wake Forest, NC and Dan Greenberg of Biddeford, ME.

A celebration of life gathering of friends will be held from 5:00 – 7:00pm on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 128 Harbortown Drive, Kings Mountain, NC 28086.
