Rebecca Jane Glover Greene, age 74, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2022 at Hospice Wendover in Shelby. Born in Cleveland County on November 18, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Dock Douglas Glover and Celestine Margaret Putnam Glover. In addition to her parents, Becky is preceded in death by her husband, James Henry Greene. Becky was a lifelong member of Sandy Plains Baptist Church and retired from Cleveland Regional Medical Center after 45 years as an Emergency Room and Cath Lab Nurse.

Becky is survived by her daughters, Lisa Greene Humphries and Lea Greene Proctor (Kevin), a brother, James D Glover (Phyllis), 4 grandchildren, Bobby Humphries, Nicole Humphries (D.J.), Bailey Proctor and Kailey Proctor, 5 great grandchildren, Alayana Harris, Ariana Harris, Caidan Humphries, Dacen Miller and Laia Miller. Also left to cherish her memory, her special friends, Lyneda Williams, Jewel Dills, Amanda Petty, and Katherine Jones.

A celebration of life service will be held 2:00PM Thursday June 30, 2022 at the Chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home with Rev. B Price officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00PM - 2:00PM.
