The Grand Opening of the new Rescue Mission Thrift Store is Thursday, January 31st. The store is conveniently located at 1661 East Dixon Boulevard in Shelby Plaza between Big Lots and Planet Fitness. There is plenty of free parking. Rescue Mission Thrift Store is a bargain hunters dream. Kids clothes are prices from 99 cents to $5.99, adult and young adults items are priced from $1.50 to $8.99. The store is 6,000 square feet of one bargain after another and is open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Cash and credit cards are accepted. Director, Pastor Michael Gullatte is very optimistic about what the store will offer. “The store provides opportunities for customers and also benefits the Cleveland County Rescue Mission”. The key to the success is donations by citizens. Donation receipts will be provided. For larger items such as furniture there is a free pick up service. Just call 704-476-0031 to schedule a pick up.
