Reverend Pherson Weatherman

Reverend Pherson Weatherman, age 66, of Ellenboro, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Monday, November 22, 2021 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.

Pherson was born Monday, October 31, 1955 in Rutherford County to the late Charles "Buck" Weatherman and Sarah Dolan McDaniel Weatherman. He served the Lord as a Minister of the Gospel for over thirty-five years and was most recently the Associate Pastor of the Ellenboro Community Church. Pherson also worked for Master Craft for forty years. He was a volunteer Chaplain at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills and a graduate of Fruitland Bible College. Pherson enjoyed shooting guns and reading his Bible. He was a good Christian man and a dedicated husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend. He impacted many lives and was loved by all.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of twenty-seven years, Carol Wilson Weatherman; daughters, Angie Butler (Willie) of Forest City, Michelle Johnson (Danny) of Marion, Marina Weatherman of the home; sons, Pherson Weatherman II (Renea) of Forest City, Wayne Finley (Candi) of Chesnee and Cameron Weatherman of the home; two sisters, Penny Bradley (Johnny) and Patricia Terry all of Forest City. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 12:00 pm on Monday, November 29, 2021 at Wilson Baptist Church with Reverend Neil Murray and Reverend Cliff Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service time at the church.

Memorial donations are requested to Harrelson Funeral Home, 1251 US Highway 221a, Forest City, NC 28043 to help defray funeral costs.
