It was a tremendous turnout for the Revive Church “Back To School” bash this past Sunday. It happened at the Dover Foundation YMCA where Revive Church currently holds its’ services. Approximately 150 school children were blessed as members of the church reached out to the community and showed the love of Christ.  All the children were given free school supplies and enjoyed sno-cones, making favorite crafts, and playing on the Y inflatable slide. A big hit was the appearance of the Kidsville News mascot “Truman” who greeted the children and parents. Revive Church, pastored by Austin Porter, meets at Dover YMCA Sundays at 10 a.m.  The name of the church was chosen as a dedicated effort to “revive” the city and county to turn to Jesus. The church knows no strangers. All are welcome.
