Lawndale - Mr. Richard David "Rick" Morrison, 70, went to be with the Lord
on November 20, 2016.

Mr. Morrison was born on October 25, 1946 in Cleveland County, NC a son of
the late Earl and Ethel Bridges Morrison. He was a member of St. Paul
Baptist Church where he was a former Sunday School teacher and was retired
as a guard from the N.C. Department of Corrections is Shelby. Mr. Morrison
was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his father-in-law,
James Davis.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Gale, of the home; a son and
daughter-in-law, David and Charlotte Morrison; a daughter and son-in-law,
Wendy and Todd Blankenship; four beloved grandchildren, Summer Morrison,
Randy, Aidan and Emma Blankenship; mother-in-law, Leola Davis; three
brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald and Margaret Morrison; Jimmy and Dianne
Morrison and Tommy and Beth Morrison.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 from 12:45PM to 1:45PM at
St. Paul Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will be held at St. Paul Baptist Church at 2:00PM on
Wednesday, November 23, 2016.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul Baptist Church, 337 Hull Road, Casar, NC
28020.
