Richard "Dick" Lyndorf Lester, 85, passed away Saturday December 3, 2022 at Atrium Health in Kings Mountain.

Born in VanDalia, Illinois on June 1, 1937 he was the son of the late Martin Lester and Bernice Lester. In addition to his parents Dick is preceded in death by two daughters, Julie Rush, Tracey Brackett, grandson Joey Bridges. Dick was the owner and operator of Ray's Homes in Shelby for upwards of 36 years.

Dick is survived by his wife of 39 years Marsha Lester, his granddaughter Amy Rush, as well as, great grand daughters Ava and Brianna, great great grand daughter Ariya.

A private service will be held.
