Richard Quinton Cook, 67 of Casar, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at his residence.

Born in Cleveland County, NC on December 14, 1954, he was the son of the late OC Cook, Jr. and Judith Earl Cook.

Survivors include two daughters, Kellie Boice and husband, Billy of Casar and Karin Johnson and husband, David of Casar; a brother, Randy Cook of Casar; and six grandchildren, Haley Boice, Blake Boice, Mason Boice, David Johnson, Andrew Johnson and Alayna Johnson.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Burns High School Football Booster Club, 707 S. Lafayette Street, Suite E, Shelby NC 28150.
