Mr. Rickmon 'Ricky" Dickerson Logan, 78, passed away on February 4, 2026, at the VA Hospital in Asheville, NC. He was born on January 26, 1948, to the late Rickmon Logan and Blanche Dickerson Logan in Rutherford County, NC.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nannie Briscoe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nannie Briscoe Logan; sisters, Iris Jean Logan Hickman, Joyce Logan, Joan Logan, and Bernard Logan; two brothers Conrad Logan and Brandon Logan.

He leaves to cherish his memory, a daughter, Brittany Latrece Patterson of Spindale, NC; grandson R.J. Granville, of Spindale, NC; sister, Daisy L. Hoyle (Terry) of Charlotte, NC; brother, Sike Waynewright Logan of Forest City, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at New Zion Baptist Church in Spindale, NC. Burial took place at Wells Springs United Methodist Church in Forest City, NC.
