Ricky Allen Carpenter, age 63, of Rudisill Rd passed away Friday, February 3, 2017 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. He was born July 24, 1953 in Lincoln County to the late William "Dub" and Bonnie Mae Neal Carpenter. Rick was a member of Hephzibah ARP Church. He was formerly employed with Comforto, Park Dale Mills, and Ultra Industries. He was an avid sports fan who loved the Dallas Cowboys and Carolina Tarheels. His grandchildren were the "apple of his eye" and he enjoyed every minute he spent with them and his family.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Carol Flack Carpenter; children, Tracy Carpenter and Tony Carpenter; grandchildren, Dylan Carpenter, Natalie Roberts, and Jeremiah Roberts; brothers, Tommy Carpenter and wife, Vickie and Mike Carpenter; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Fred and Ruby Flack.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 6, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Hephzibah ARP Church with Pastor Lamar Creel officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:30 to 2:45 PM.
