Ricky Dale Melton, Sr., 53, of 1025 W. Stagecoach Trail, Lawndale, passed
away Sunday, January 29, 2017 at his home.

He was born in Cleveland County on March 1, 1963 to Billy Gene Melton of
Lawndale and the late Katie Harvey Melton.

In addition to his mother he is preceded in death by his sister, Suzie Ann
Melton.

In addition to his father he is survived by a son, Ricky Melton, Jr, of
Lawndale; three daughters, Ashley Melton Holman and husband Brandon; Nikki
Ray Lemmons and Nicky Melton all of Shelby; two brothers, Billy Dean Melton
and Rodney Dwayne Melton both of Lawndale; sister, Lori Denise Melton of
Lawndale; and seven grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM Thursday at Safe
Harbor Community Church, Kings Mountain.

The celebration of life service will be held on Thursday at 3:00 PM at Safe
Harbor Community Church with the Rev. Doug Clubb officiating.
