Ricky Lane Ware, age 63, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at his home at One on One Care in Shelby.

Born in Gaston County on June 28, 1957 he was the son of the late Arthur Bunyon and Eva Bridges Ware. Ricky was a member of Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church. He was a people person and enjoyed talking to people. Ricky enjoyed watching The Andy Griffin Show, Tom and Jerry and the Three Stooges. He also had a passion for Sundrop. In addition to his parents, Ricky is preceded in death by four brothers, David Ware, Joe Ware, Bob Ware and Dr. Gene Ware and a sister, Brenda Shehan.

Ricky is survived by two sisters, Martha Owens and husband Kenneth of Kings Mountain and Sandra Jones and husband Kevin of Marion; two brothers, Alfred Ware of Marion and Roy Ware and wife Lulu of Bessemer City; a sister in law, Glenda Ware of Kings Mountain his family at One on One Care in Shelby ; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held at Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church.
