Robert "Bobby" Lee Eskridge, age 90 died Friday March 17, 2017 at Carolinas Healthcare Cleveland. Born in Winder Georgia on September 2, 1926 he was the son of the late Clyde Clingman and Ella Mae Summerour Eskridge. He was an active member of First Baptist Church where he was a member of the Cal Roberson Sunday School Class, served as a deacon and on numerous committees. Bobby retired full time as Vice President and Office Manager of Royster P & M Warehouse and continued to work part-time until his death. Bobby loved tennis, was an avid Braves baseball fan, and enjoyed gardening with his mother. In addition to his parents, Bobby is preceded in death by a brother, Clyde C. Eskridge Jr. and a sister, Mary Frances Elliott.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 70 years, Jeanne Blanton Eskridge; two sons, Lee Eskridge Jr. and wife Ella of Atlanta, and Kim Eskridge and wife Beverly of Marietta Ga. ; a daughter, Lydia Wilson and husband Larry of Gastonia; five grandchildren, Robby Eskridge III and wife Lindsey, Lindsey Pak and husband Paul, Rush Eskridge, Ross Wilson, Meredith Bynum, and husband Zack; two great grandchildren, Hannah Pak and Caleb Yates Pak; and beloved nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 20, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Webb Chapel of First Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Tench officiating. The Family will receive friends following the service in the Ladies Parlor. A private burial will be held at Cleveland Memorial Park.
