Mr. Robert Carl Appleton, age 71, died Wednesday at his home. Born in Bucks County PA., he was the son of Doris Detrich Appleton and the late Arthur Appleton. He enjoyed County Living and family.

He is survived by his wife Aimee Pearson; two sons, Robert D. Appleton of PA, and Sunset Appleton of Asheville; two granddaughters, Dena Appleton and Kara Appleton.

Private services will be held at a later date
