Gaffney -- Robert Eugene Kemmer, 82, of 1555 Overbrook Drive, passed away Monday, August 20th, 2018, at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Born in Warren, OH, he was the husband of Janice Sue Kemmer and the son of the late Frank and Pearl Hanger Kemmer. Mr. Kemmer retired from a steel industry and was a member of Midway Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife of 47 years, Mr. Kemmer is survived by two sons, Lee Allen Kemmer of Warren, OH and Kenneth Jon Kemmer of Youngstown, OH; and his twin brother, Richard Lee Kemmer Sr, of Gaffney.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Mary Jane Beachler and Beverly Lucas, and a brother, Maurice Ladd.

A memorial service honoring the life of Mr. Kemmer will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018, at 2:00 pm at Midway Baptist Church with Rev. Vernon Craig officiating.
