Robert Eugene "Superman" Morrison, age 46, died Monday, February 4, 2019 at his home in Shelby. Born on February 15, 1972 he was the son of the late Jon Morrison and Sharon Mayer Morrison. He was well known for his art and in particular his drawings. Robbie will be remembered for his love of God and the "Superman" everyone knew him as.


Robert is survived by his fiance Julie Hopper and her daughters, Savannah and Madison Hopper, three sisters; Deborah Morrison Crawford of Mooresboro, Elizabeth Morrison Beattie of Del Rio, TX and Misty Rain Morrison of Mooresboro, one brother; Gunnery Sergeant Jason Charles Morrison of Jacksonville as well as a special cousin; Rita Page of Shelby and Brian Gawronski of Clover, SC.
