Mooresboro - Robert Samuel Hawkins, 77, went to be with his Lord and his loved ones that were waiting for him with open arms on March 14, 2020. Mr. Hawkins was born December 18, 1942 to the late Sam Hawkins and Retta Humphries Hawkins. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He owned and operated Hawkins Tire and Oil for many years with his devoted wife Linda.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife Linda Keeter Hawkins, one brother Ronnie Hawkins.

He is survived by one son David Hawkins from Mooresboro; two daughters Tammy Clark and husband Keith from Ellenboro, Rhonda Adkins and husband John from Mooresboro; one sister June Green and husband Ricky. He will be missed by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren Emily Kuykendall, Heather Davis, Robert Myers, Jr., Kayla Clark, Savanna Street, Emma Kuykendall, Landon Davis and Camdon Davis. He will be greatly missed but left us with many precious memories.

Family and friends are invited to the service at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service. Pastors Bruce Duncan and Travis Laflin will be officiating the service.

Interment will follow at the Cliffside Cemetery.
