Robert Wade Pilgrim, 70 of Spindale passed away at his home on February 20, 2019. He was a native of Rutherford County and worked for the Town of Spindale for many years. Robert was preceded in death by his parents James Pilgrim and Mable Champion Pilgrim, also a son Kenny Pilgrim Black. Left to cherish his memory are his brothers Hubert and Jerry Pilgrim; daughters Elizabeth Pilgrim and Bobbie Lee Stanley; sons, Samuel Pilgrim, Robert Stanley and Israel Stanley; and a number of nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday February 24, 2019 at Crowes Mortuary Chapel at 2PM with the Rev. Leon Brown officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
