Rocky Lane Bailey, age 66, of South Church Street, Forest City, died Monday, February 18, 2019 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.
Rocky was born August 21, 1952 in Spartanburg County and was the son of the late Eber Alexander Bailey and Ellarie Mills Bailey. He worked for Harrill & Harrill Decoration Manufacturing and A & E Plastics for many years. Rocky was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Michael, Leon and Steve Bailey.
Those left to cherish his memory include one daughter, Stephanie Bailey (fiancé, Josh Yelton); son, Teddy Lee Shelton (Jessica) of Burnsville, NC; brother, Thomas Bailey (Jan) of Chesapeake, VA; sister-in-law, Melissa Gilbert Hudson of Union Mills. He is also survived by four grandsons, Brandon Shelton, Tyler Shelton, Travis Shelton and Austin Shahan.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Michael Harrill officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
