Cherryville - Mr. Rodney Dale "Goat" Propst, 59, passed away on Sunday,
August 20, 2107 at Carolinas Healthcare Systems-Cleveland.

Rodney was born in Catawba County, NC on April 26, 1958 a son of the late
John Propst and Shelby Huffman Pfeifer. He was employed as a lead person
and machine operator for Keystone Carbon in Cherryville.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Ruby Marie Cook Propst of the home;
a son, Jonathan Propst; a grandson, Konnor Propst both of Cherryville; two
sisters, Susan Dellinger of Cherryville and Debbie Propst of Maiden.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 from 12:30 to 1:45PM at
Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home & Cremation Service and at other times the
family will be at the home of Susan Dellinger, 101 Ridge Ave., Cherryville,
NC 28021.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at
Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home & Cremation Service Chapel with the Rev.
Jerry Owens officiating.

Burial will be at City Memorial Cemetery in Cherryville.
