Roger "Dale" Price, age 65, of Cliffside, NC, died Sunday, June 30, 2019 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.
Dale was born July 7, 1953 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late John Price and Louise Wall Price. He worked as a welder most of his life and was a member of the Cliffside Masonic Lodge #460. Dale was a volunteer fireman for the Cliffside Fire Department and enjoyed going to flea markets and was especially talented in woodworking. He was a member of Harriett Memorial Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded by one son, Jason Price.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of thirty-three years, Linda W. Price; daughter, Roni Price (James Conner) of Cliffside; two stepchildren, Barbara Vickers of Cliffside and David Goode (Susan) of Rutherfordton; sister, Beth Francis (Neil) of Ellenboro and a brother, Wesley Price (Barbara) of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Chasity Mask, Jason Price, Blake Goode, Cody Van Dyke, Taylor Goode and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 8, 2019 at Harrelson Funeral Home. A time of remembrance and sharing will be held from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m. following the visitation at the funeral home.
