Roger Davis of Casar N.C passed away on November 26th, 2018 at Hospice of Cleveland County. He was the Son of the late JB and Geraldine Davis. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Carol Marlow and a former wife, Teresa Carpenter (with whom he shared a wonderful Son) and Step Son, Rodney Marlow.
Roger retired from Eaton Corporation, a company that he had loved working for. He also served his country in Vietnam and spent the rest of his life appreciating and respecting fellow veterans. He was a self-confessed "Good-Old-Boy" who loved simple country living, good music, telling stories and spending time with friends and family. Some of his favorite times were spent in the outdoors hunting with his buddy, Don Blanton.
Those he leaves behind include his Son, Christopher Jason Davis (Wife) Deana (Siblings) Billie, Marilyn, Johnny and Craig (Nieces and Nephews) Shannon, Bill, Ricky, Callie, Warren and Bryan.
A celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Landmark Baptist Church, 1724 E Dixon Blvd, Shelby, NC 28152.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to; Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby, NC 28150.
