Roger Edward Bowman, 81, of 117 Wells St., Fallston, passed away Monday,
March 26, 2018 at home.

He was born January 23, 1937 in Cleveland County, to the late Frank Bowman
and Blanche Bridges Bowman. He attended Lawndale Baptist Church. Mr. Bowman
was co-owner of R & H Enterprise and served in the US Airforce.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of forty
four years, Toby Bruce Bowman; four brothers, Harry Bowman, Thomas Bowman,
Gene Bowman and Joe Bowman; sister, Katherine Fletcher; son-in-law, Melvin
Ogle and grandson, Christopher Padget.

He is survived by two sons, Roger Dale Bowman and wife Amanda of Bessemer
City and Michael Bowman of Myrtle Beach, SC; three daughters, Jewel Ogle of
Hayes, VA, Sheila Ann Blake and husband Larry of St. Louis, MO and Dayna
Bryant of Myrtle Beach, SC; brother, Dewey Bowman of Apple Valley, CA;
grandchildren, Toby Kelly and husband Pat of Hollywood, MD, Naomi Weaver of
Hayes, VA, Samuel Ogle and wife Natalie of Massillon, OH, Esther Corbin and
husband Vernon of Newport News, VA, Solomon Ogle of Newport News, VA, Sierra
Blake, Roy Bowman, Melissa Cobb, Dustin Bryant, Justin Bowman, Mandy Cross
and James Cross; great grandchildren, Jordan Weaver, Edmond Ogle, Victoria
Ogle, Jessi Kelly, Jake Kelly, Aaron Padget, Gage Bowman, Austin Bowman,
Kylie Cross, Elijah Cross, Evan Cross, Levi Rowell, Luke Rowell and Riley
Kelly.

The family will receive friends 10:00AM until 11:00AM Monday at Stamey
-Tysinger Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be 11:00AM Monday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. Tom Hartis officiating.

Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Memorial Park.
