KINGS MOUNTAIN - Ronald Eugene "Ronnie" Tignor, age 74, entered Heavens Gates on Tuesday, January 24, 2017. He was predeceased by his parents, Gene and Dorothy Cobb Tignor; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Beverly Tignor; son, David Deal; grand-daughter, Danyelle Whitaker.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 48 years, Shirley Tignor; three children, Lisa Tignor Whitaker and husband, Timmy; Larry Deal and wife, Laura, and Susan Deal McKinzie and husband Mark; eight grandchildren, TJ Whitaker, TiAnna Whitaker, Ashlie Deal, Caleb Deal, Brandy Deal, Elijah Whitaker, Tori Allison and Matthew Deal; ten great-grandchildren, Ethan, Nathan, Jayden, Kaydance, Alexis, Levi, Joseph, Aubrey, Colton, and Payten; nieces, nephews and a host of loving friends.
A 3:00 p.m. funeral service will be held Friday, January 27, 2017 at East Gold Wesleyan Church, 701 E Gold Street, Kings Mountain, NC 28086 with Pastor Scott Whitney officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. The family will be meeting at the home.
