Ronald "Ronnie" David Jones, 58 of Ellenboro, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2017 at his residence.
He is survived by his children, David Edward Jones of Ellenboro, NC, and Sarah Elizabeth Jones of Brevard, NC, three grandchildren, Peyton, Shelby, and Caroline Jones, two sisters, Angela Jones Nodine and husband Charles of Gastonia, NC, and Amy Jones Carswell and husband Edward of Shelby, NC, two nieces, Stephanie Nodine and Jessie Cooper and a nephew, Caleb Carswell.
Born October 17, 1959 in Highlands County, FL, Ronnie is the son of Jessie Elizabeth "Lib" Whitaker Jones and the late Harold David Jones and was preceded in death by a son, Randall Flay Jones.
Ronnie enjoyed outdoor activities and especially liked fishing and hunting. He also loved music, dancing, and drawing. Ronnie loved animals, especially his dog "Gizmo".
He was a kind and passionate person that would help anyone that was in need. Ronnie loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He was the kind of person that would always bring a smile to your face and will be truly missed by those that knew him.
A private burial will be held at a later date.
