Ronald "Ronnie" Stacey, 76, passed away February 5, 2022.

A native of Cleveland Co, he was born to the late Raymond and Doris Blanton Stacey. Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Teresa Short Stacey, brother Don Stacey and wife Susan of Gastonia and sister Lisa Clary and husband David of Shelby, brother-in-law and sister-in law Ralph and Judy Grindstaff and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ronnie retired from the Army National Guard. He was a long haul truck driver for over 25 years. He also was the service manager at Carter Chevrolet and Rogers Pontiac/Cadillac. He was an avid marksman and loved rides on his motorcycle. He truly loved life and his family. He will be sorely missed especially by his best friend Scooter.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday February 9, 2022 in The Chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home & Crematory, Rev. Tony Tench, officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Mountain Rest Cemetery with full military honors.

The family strongly encourages the use of face masks and social distancing.
