Ronnie Bowie, age 69, of Spindale, died Monday, November 14, 2016 at the Hospice House of Rutherford County.
Born August 23, 1947 in Washington D.C., he was a son to the late Thomas Andrew Bowie and Viola Jackson Bowie. He worked in warehouses of various charities and was an active participant at the Magnolia House. Ronnie enjoyed helping others and loved to carry on good conversations.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Silas and Kermora Jackson.
Survivors include one brother, Cedric Anthony Bowie and wife, Veronica of Spindale and two nephews, Cedric Bowie III of Gastonia and Caleb A. Bowie of Spindale. He is also survived by a host of cousins.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 on Friday, November 15, 2016 at the Jesus Way Church with Pastor Helen Adams officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
