Ronnie Carol Nelson, 79, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Peak Resources in Shelby. Born in Cleveland County on December 31, 1942, He was the son of the late James Plaster Nelson and Louise Williams Nelson. Ronnie was a true outdoorsman that especially loved to fish, hunt and travel with his family.

Ronnie is survived by his wife of 51 years, Louise M. Nelson and daughter Stefanie Nelson Davidson, daughter Hali Ava Davidson of Wilmington, NC. Also left to cherish his memory is his sister-in-law, Patricia Walters of Mooresville, NC brother-in-law, Bill Wayne Maddox of Hamlet, NC and many loving nieces and nephews.

To honor the life of Mr. Nelson the family will hold services privately.
