KINGS MOUNTAIN: Ronnie Dean Leonhart, 76, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, peacefully, at his home, on Friday, November 17, 2017. He was born on March 17, 1941, he was preceded in death by his parents Marvin Bishop and Ida Barrett Leonhart. He was a faithful member and deacon of Faith Baptist Church of Shelby, NC. He was retired from L&L Auto Parts of Grover, NC. The family would like to give a special thanks to Hospice of Cleveland County, and especially Michelle Williams and Martha Merriweather, and a special caregiver, Yvonne Ellis.

PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters; three brothers; and grandson, Jacob Tyler Leonhart.

SURVIVED: He is survived by his loving and caring wife of 56 years, Betty Emory Leonhart, of the home; daughters, Teresa Anthony and her husband Greg of Kings Mountain, Betty Jean Spangler and her husband Mike of Fallston; son, Freddie Leonhart and his wife Kim of Kings Mountain; grandsons, Brandon and Evan Anthony and Joshua Leonhart.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Shelby.

FUNERAL SERVICES: Will be held Sunday, November 19, 2017 at 2:00 PM, at Faith Baptist Church.

OFFICIATING: Dr. J. Barry Goodman, Rev. Johnny Owens and Rev. Billy Boone will officiate

BURIAL: Will immediately follow the service in Mountain Rest Cemetery
